Some would say I’m in my twilight years, others define it as my late Summer years going into Autumn – let’s just say I’ve lived a full number of years on planet Earth and leave it at that.
I spent some 35 years as a Procurement Manager, mainly within the construction industry, bringing up my family and doing all those things a working mother does. During this time, I also practised reiki healing and reflexology and ran an open circle at Ealing Christian Spiritualist Church, helping people of all walks of life to recognise and develop their own spiritual awareness and spirituality.
Over the years, I have become more and more discontented with the commercial world and the stressful way of life it brought and have worked towards ........
So, when I was made redundant for the third time, in 2017, I decided enough was enough – it was time for me. A time for me to practise what I preach, get my Me Time and help others to get their Me Time too.
A time to Release my Butterfly and help others do the same, so we could fly free and gain a balance in our lives, enjoying life rather than enduring it. Working to live and not living to work.
After taking some time out for me I decided in 2018 to extend my knowledge of crystals and took a 2-year crystal course at the Academy of Inner Resonance, learning more about the wonderful world of crystals.
During 2020/2021 I joined some open circles run by a well-known psychic medium, honing my skills as a psychic medium and sending distant energy healing to my clients.
I am passionate that everyone should feel their ‘power’ of freedom of choice. To release the programming of generations, doing things the way everyone else does, because… well that’s how is always been done!
There is no right or wrong, just different ways of looking at and doing ‘stuff’. In my opinion we are living on this Earth at this time to BE, to understand and be aware of what it is like to be human, to love and be happy.
We are all energy and connected in so many ways to everything in this universe – our individual worlds touching, connecting and interacting as we go through our physical journey here on Earth. We then return to energy, becoming a part of the one but still retaining our individuality, recognising that we are the same but with differences and ultimately bringing acceptance and balance between light and dark – harmony
Butterflies represent many things. They are winged messengers from the spirit realm to the physical realm; symbolic representations of a loved one’s passing or a life struggle; a symbol for celebrations, life and our journeys, transformation and rebirth and many more.
For me butterflies are a deep and powerful representation of life, their transformation from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly is one of the wonders of nature. A symbolic message to us all that our own lives can be transformed, that change is possible – a sign of hope and life.
They have a mystery and power that fascinates. When you see a butterfly, without fail you will stop, maybe for only a second, to admire its graceful dance across the skies. The silent wings bring a message of rebirth, spirituality and peace.
Breaking Free:
So often, we wrap ourselves in our own cocoon using it as protection from the many hurts in this life. The unkind words said to us and we have said to others, the actions that have caused us and others pain and sorrow, the passing of a loved one and the grief we cannot express or the anger we cannot release.
And, although most of us want to break free of the ties, imagined or real, or habits that hold us back, we either don’t have the courage or don’t know how to move forward.
But the butterfly is brave. The caterpillar builds its cocoon knowing it faces the unknown and, when it’s ready, it breaks through the shell to freedom, drying its beautiful wings in the sunlight then flitting of to enjoy life.
We can all take heart from the butterfly, we can all break through our own self-made cocoon and live as we were meant to, like the butterfly spreading our beautiful metaphoric wings and becoming and loving our true selves, warts and all.
We can accept our darker side and embrace our lighter side, bringing a balance to our own energy selves and being able to see, with compassion, where we have been, where we are now and where we are going.
The Butterfly symbolises all these things.
Life is short and, whether you are a butterfly or a human, it is meant to be enjoyed without causing harm or pain to any other living thing. Bringing a sense of harmony and peace.
So, the butterfly is my own symbol of freedom and brings sense and a feeling of balance into a world that at times doesn’t make any sense.
Are you ready to let me help you find your true balance and Release your Butterfly?
